Decided to draw up Django today. A recent addition to my favorite movies list.

A James Bond post today. The one and only Goldfinger. One of my favorite movies. Damn I love Bond films.

Papillon

Today we have one of my favorite movies and actors...Steve McQueen as Papillon. Normally I work 50/50 on my illustrations. Half traditional, half digital. I wanted to try to work on something that was completely 100% digital from sketch to finish. Here we are. I'm really happy with how this turned out.

As The Bookworm Turns

Another "Bat-Baddie" today is the Bookworm. I loved Roddy McDowall as an ape and I loved him as the Bookworm.  I have a ton of characters waiting for me down the road. Robin, Siren, Mad Hatter, King Tut, Shame, Marsha Queen of Diamonds and the list goes on. The Batman theme will be a constant.

Today we have Rutger Hauer (Roy Batty) from the movie Blade Runner. This was a drawing that I had done a long while back. Recently, I did a painting demo for my Illustration students. I went with Rutger.

I've always liked this drawing and glad I went back to it.

The Joker is Wild!

Another Batman themed illustration. Cesar Romero as the Joker. As a kid, I never understood why the Joker had a mustache.
I wanted to revisit some of the older Batman drawings that I had done. Finish them up. One day I hope  to illustrate every character from the Batman show. (even Aunt Harriet)

Back today with a bit of a left turn from wrestling. Wanted to work up a Walking Dead illustration. One of my favorite characters is Merle Dixon. So here ya go. I'll make more Walking Dead characters among other things down the road.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts

I had hoped to get this done before the end of the year. Missed it by that much. Anyway, today we have another of my all time favorite wrestlers... Jake "The Snake" Roberts. The master of the DDT.
Jake has been through a lot. I hope the best for Jake in 2013 and beyond. 2013, the year of the snake!

This year I have a ton of stuff planned. I'm going to start working back into some other themes. I will still pop around with wrestling, but I want to work on some different subjects. Next up... The Walking Dead.

"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

Money, money, money, money, mon-ney! Everybody's got a price! Hahahaha! Lookout Virgil, today we have the Million Dollar Man. He was a great bad guy back in the day. He should have had a WWE title run. It's great to watch his early matches from St. Louis pre WWE days. Great wrestler.

Bruiser Brody

Today we have another of my favorite wrestlers, Bruiser Brody. Growing up in St. Louis during the 70's & 80's, we knew him as King Kong Brody. Brody was a staple on "Wrestling at the Chase" in St. Louis. Great matches. Thanks Bruiser.
