Back after a Thanksgiving break with some old school AC/DC. Today we have the late great Bon Scott. This is my all time favorite band hands down. Bon was insane. Love it.

New Fang

Today we have Josh Homme from the band, Queens of the Stone Age and most recently, Them Crooked Vultures. Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones form Vultures with him. Awesome stuff.

Captain Jack Harkness

Today we have Captain Jack Harkness. A great character from Doctor Who and it's spin-off show, Torchwood. He is the man who can't die. This was really put to the test in the fantastic mini series, Torchwood: Children of Earth. That five night series was some of the best sci-fi I have seen on TV in a long time. Rent it.

"You've Reached Jim Rockford..."

Today we have James Garner from the all-time classic T.V. series, The Rockford Files. Love this show. Some of the best characters on T.V. come from this show.

I need to get this on DVD.

Steve McQueen

He defined cool. A favorite McQueen movie of mine is Papillon. He and Dustin Hoffman are fantastic in it. I'm sure that one will pop up here sometime soon on the blog.

The Mighty Isis!

Today we have Isis from one my favorite shows on Saturday morning during the 1970's. Isis or "The Secrets of Isis" was one half of the Shazam/Isis Power Hour. I recently watched Isis on DVD...wow...cough...cough. It was better than Shazam. Shazam's show was about a hispanic kid who travels with an old man in an RV. The kid yells "Shazam!" and turns into a bloated white drunk in red spandex.
